Jolie's story
Beautiful Jolie is ready and excited to find her new family. She is approximately 12 years old and weighs 15 pounds. She is a long haired dapple Dachshund mix. Jolie is absolutely the sweetest girl there is. She loves everybody. Jolie does great around other dogs and likes to be around them, but she would also do fine as an only dog. She is definitely a people dog and will need a stay at home person as she does not like to be alone. She loves being right by you and will follow you anywhere. Jolie came to us with an eye injury and we have since had her eye removed and also provided her with a dental. She has limited vision in her remaining eye and has dry eye so she will need to have medicine put in her eye a couple times a day. When Jolie came to us she was suffering from a skin issue from fleas, which caused her to lose a lot of her hair. With proper care her beautiful hair has been coming back. Jolie is a happy, easy going girl. She is house trained, and crate trained. She uses the doggy door in her foster home. We do not know how Jolie is with children, we feel she would do best in a home with older children or no children. She likes quiet and calm settings spending time with her human family. Jolie walks great on a leash and she loves to go for walks. She is always up for new adventures. Jolie is spayed, microchipped, and current on vaccines. She is ready to begin the next chapter of her life. Jolie will make a fantastic addition to any home. office.
If you are interested in this dog or would like more information please send me an Adoption Questionnaire
Thank you
We appreciate that you are interested in one or more of our dogs or cats for adoption. Here is a list of things that should help us answer you in a more timely manner.
1. When you apply please always use the same email address. If we need to look something up later and you used a different email we are often not able to find it.
2. Adopt a Pet and Petfinders ask you to send us an enquiry. This always delays our response. (Why)
a. Our biographies are always very detailed. Therefore sending an enquiry asking us to repeat what it says in the biography causes a lot more work and delays our response.
b. We are a small non-profit and do not always have the help to answer as many enquiries as we get.
c. Again our Biographies are very detailed and if you just click the link near the bottom of their bio you can fill out an application which we will respond to.
3. For the AFC website (scroll down to the bio at the bottom it says (apply to adopt today- click that link)
4. For Petfinders ( scroll down to the biography then click the adoption link) http://animalfriendsconnect.org/adoption-application-dogs/
5. For Adopt a Pet (scroll way down past Ask about me) you will see the biography and underneath that will be the adoption questionnaire link.
We are closed on Sundays unless you make prior arrangements and schedule an appointment
