Willie's story
Willie was rescued In August 2017 from the Lodi Animal Shelter. He had no use of his hind legs and we thought maybe he was hit by a car. Willis is also partially blind. We think he can see shadows; this doesnt stop him from getting around at all!!!! He can quickly acclimate to a new space although there will be a learning curve of bumping into things! He enjoys swimming and it is wonderful therapy for his legs! He also loves rolling in lush green grass. Willie was in a long term foster environment that was instrumental in helping him decompress, build trust and strength. He is much better when meeting new people and was walked multiple times a day. Willie is now ready for his forever home. He would do well in a home with an appropriately matched female dog or hed be okay as an only dog.
